European Oak Hardwood Flooring

Available in character grade and prime/clear grade.

1. Traditional 20 mm floorboards, either square edged or tongued and grooved sides and ends (optional), stress grooves in back.

Mixed lengths generally from 1.5 metres to 3 metres. Most lengths are over 2 metres.

Widths are 95, 115, 140, 165 and 200 mm

N.B. This product can be offered pre-sanded

2. Strip Flooring, 22 mm thick, tongued and grooved sides and ends, stress grooves in back.

Mixed lengths from approx. 400 mm up to

2 metres plus.

Available widths are 70, 90 and 110 mm

Character and Clear grade

Character grade contains knots and usually some variation in colour and grain pattern. Knots are sound, generally less than 25 mm diameter, but a small number may be cracked and will require some filling. There may be only one or two knots in a 2 metre lengths. Some lengths will contain no knots. We sell much more character grade than clear grade.

Clear grade contains only occasional pin knots.but will have variation in grain pattern etc.

Natural Grade Oak Strip

Available in 63 and 89 mm width only, 20 mm thick, mixed lengths from 225 mm up to about 1500 mm, tongued and grooved on all four sides. May contain large knots, some of which may be open and require filling, and considerable colour variation. Can be laid over joists or battens, or fixed onto existing flooring.
